Move Over to Prevent a Fatality
All 50 states have what is known as the "Move Over Laws" these laws state that drivers need to switch into a farther lane or if that is not possible to do safely, to slow down. It is recommended that drivers slow down by at least 15 mph to reduce the risk of causing a highway fatality.
